BOARDING
Discover our boarding kennel
At Espace Chien, boarding is like day camp: our residents spend lots of time playing, running, and being petted and cuddled! Sociable dogs can play in groups in our large indoor gym or in one of our outdoor yards.
All dogs over 6 months old must be spayed or neutered to be eligible to play in groups.
Does your dog dislike the company of other dogs? Then they will have the opportunity to play their favorite game with one of our caring staff members!
All dogs have access to a private enclosure with a bed, toys, food, and fresh water at all times. Our staff supervises all dog outings and participates by encouraging them to play or overcome obstacles.
You can enhance your dog’s stay by offering individual walks, homemade frozen Kongs, healthy treats to chew on, or grooming.
If your dog has special needs, please let us know!

FAQ
To be admitted to boarding, your dog needs his up-to-date vaccination record as well as his food for the duration of the stay.
He must be in good health and be able to follow the activities of the center.
He must also be sociable with humans and not show signs of aggression towards them and must be able to have an appropriate attitude when on the premises (no escape attempts, excessive yelling or destruction abusive material)
Up-to-date basic vaccines, rabies and Bordetella (kennel cough) are required, with the veterinarian document, in order for your dog to be admitted at boarding.
It all depends on the medication to be taken.
For example, if your pet’s life depends on his medication (insulin, heart, kidneys, etc.) and if your dog’s absence of medication can cause illness or death, then we advise you to leave our dog with a health professional (veterinary boarding center).
If the drugs do not provide any vital function (allergy, anti-inflammatory, painkiller, ear or eye drops, etc.), we only need the original prescription from the veterinarian (bottle or box with label) and we we can give him his medication.
Please provide a suitable treat (pill pocket, cheese, etc.) if necessary in order to administer a tablet or capsule.
A fee of $6 per administration will be charged.
If your dog is taking medication, here is the document you will be asked to fill out when checking in with us: Click here to view the document

Please note that daycare following a boarding stay is free of charge when you book a grooming appointment at the end of your dog’s stay!
The vaccines required are the basic vaccine, the rabies vaccine and the Bordetella (canine cough) vaccine. Vaccines must be given to dogs more than 7 days before the start date of the stay or given to date in cases of vaccine recalls.
